Job offer: Vascular Surgeon Consultant

Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its advanced healthcare services and patient-centered approach. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform surgical procedures to treat vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, aneurysms, and other vascular disorders.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests, to determine the most appropriate surgical approach.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, considering factors such as comorbidities, age, and vascular health.
• Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients’ recovery progress, managing pain, and addressing any complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, cardiologists, and general surgeons, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and educational activities to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in vascular surgery techniques, technologies, and treatment modalities through continuous medical education.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documentation, and patient charts in accordance with regulatory standards.

WORKING CONDITION

• Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon shifts).
• Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
• Probation Period: 6 months.
• Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.

Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Vascular Surgery, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.

Subspecialty: Any subspecialty qualification is considered an added advantage.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 70,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
