Job offer: IVF Consultant

Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant IVF to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and treat infertility in patients, using advanced reproductive technologies including IVF, ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), and other assisted reproductive techniques.
• Perform IVF procedures, including egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and monitoring of ovarian stimulation protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive fertility assessments, including hormonal evaluations, ultrasound scans, and semen analysis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, considering medical history, fertility issues, and patient preferences.
• Provide counseling to patients and couples on fertility treatment options, success rates, and potential risks.
• Oversee the embryology laboratory, ensuring optimal conditions for fertilization, embryo culture, and cryopreservation.
• Collaborate with gynecologists, urologists, endocrinologists, and other specialists to provide integrated reproductive care.
• Mentor and supervise junior doctors, nurses, and embryologists in the IVF unit.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to complex decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines related to reproductive medicine and IVF procedures.
• Engage in research activities, contributing to the advancement of reproductive medicine and fertility treatments.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at medical and scientific conferences.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in IVF and reproductive technologies, incorporating new techniques into practice.
• Participate in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows specializing in reproductive medicine.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient consultations, treatment plans, procedures, and outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, focusing on safety, comfort, and successful treatment outcomes.

WORKING CONDITION

• Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
• Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
• Probation Period: 6 months.
• Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.

Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.

Subspecialty: Fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility or equivalent advanced training in IVF and assisted reproductive technologies.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 80,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
