International company seeking a strategic and dynamic  National Field Force Manager to enhance the commercial strategies and secure the leadership in conventional products while accelerating the growth of smoke-free alternatives.

In this role, the candidate will design and lead the deployment of commercial strategies through the sales field teams. Expertise will be crucial in deploying these strategies and ensuring successful execution.

Goal achievement is typically accomplished through the performance of direct and/or indirect reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution :
    • Develop and execute strategic plans for field operations across the entire country.
    • Align field activities with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Team Leadership and Development :
    • Lead a team of field representatives, supervisors, coaches, hostesses and others.
    • Recruit, train, and mentor field employees.
    • Create a positive and collaborative team spirit that empowers people and enables personal growth. Coach the Field Sales Executives and ensure transparent communication within the team and with other stakeholders.
  • Operational Efficiency :
    • Optimize field processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.
    • Implement best practices for field operations.
    • Monitor resource allocation (personnel, equipment).
    • Responsible for budget accuracy and planning.
  • Performance Management :
    • Set performance targets for the field team.
    • Regularly evaluate individual and team performance.
    • Provide constructive feedback and address performance gaps.
    • Achieve and monitor the sell out of SKUs by branch, by product category, and by channel
  • Risk Management and Problem-Solving :
    • Identify potential risks in field operations (e.g., compliance issues).
    • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
    • Resolve operational challenges promptly.
  • Communication and Coordination :
    • Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement high-quality solutions for our consumers.
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (retailers, trade partners).
    • Communicate organizational changes, policies, and updates to the field team.
  • Reporting and Analysis :
    • Prepare regular reports on field activities, performance, and KPIs.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Use data-driven insights to enhance field operations.
  • Budget Oversight :
    • Manage the field operations budget.
    • Monitor expenses related to travel, equipment, and personnel.
    • Optimize resource allocation to achieve cost-effectiveness.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance :
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
    • Maintain quality control in field operations.
    • Conduct audits and inspections as needed.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, management).
    • Proven experience in field operations management, minimum of 6 years of commercial experience, with cross-functional experience highly valued.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., CRM systems, project management software).
    • People management experience (direct or indirect reports).
    • Data-driven, results-oriented, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Agile and collaborative style.
    • Natural talent for motivating and developing people.
    • Demonstrate curiosity and diverse ways of thinking to create and experiment with new ideas to benefit our consumers.
    • Strategic thinking and a growth mindset, enabling you to be resilient and adapt to a changing work environment.
    • Fluency in English and Arabic required.
