An international telecommunications company is looking for a Business Development Lead in Iraq.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Lead to spearhead our efforts in acquiring new business opportunities and managing client relationships. This hybrid role combines strategic prospecting with hands-on account management, ensuring smooth transitions from acquisition to long-term partnership. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in expanding our market presence while delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets through strategic prospecting and networking.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
    • Conduct client presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve acquisition targets.
  • Account Management:
    • Manage and oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
    • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts.  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing needs and concerns promptly.
  • Sales Strategy and Growth:
    • Develop and implement strategic account plans to grow revenue and drive account growth.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs and growth potential.
  • Revenue Achievement:
    • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through account management activities.
    • Accurately forecast and report sales results, pipeline activity, and market trends to senior leadership.
  • Collaboration and Team Leadership:
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product, and customer service to ensure client success.
    • Coordinate with product development to tailor offerings based on client feedback and industry needs.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to provide insights to clients.
    • Regularly analyze and report on account performance, providing insights into client needs and competitive positioning.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field .
  • 5-7+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in Cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a senior or strategic account management role.
  • Iraqi resident

Skills:
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce,) and MS Office Suite.

Location:
  • Remote

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
