Job offer: Make-up Artist and Hairstylist

A talented and creative Makeup Artist and Hairstylist to join a reputable Retail Fashion company located in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of current beauty trends, and the ability to create diverse looks that align with the studio’s vision. This role is integral to delivering high‐quality imagery and presentations for photoshoots, fashion shows, and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities: 

Makeup Artistry:

– Design and apply makeup looks tailored to the theme and vision of each project. 

– Collaborate with photographers, designers, and stylists to achieve cohesive results. 

– Maintain high hygiene and safety standards while working with clients and models. 

Hair Styling: 

– Create diverse hairstyles, ranging from natural  looks to avant‐garde designs, depending on the requirements of the project. 

– Utilize various techniques such as cutting, styling, and using extensions or accessories when needed. 

– Ensure hair health and manage styling under time constraints during busy shoot days. 

Collaboration and Creative Input: 

– Participate in pre‐production meetings to understand the creative direction of projects. 

– Suggest innovative ideas for hair and makeup to elevate the overall production quality. 

Studio Support: 

– Be available for quick touch‐ups during photoshoots or live events. 

– Assist in maintaining the studio’s inventory of beauty products and tools. 

– Stay updated on industry trends and new products to bring fresh ideas to the studio. 

Qualifications & Skills: 

– Experience:  Minimum  of  2  years  as  a  Makeup  Artist/Hairstylist,  preferably  in  the  fashion  or entertainment industry. 

– Expertise in various makeup and hairstyling techniques. 

– Ability to work with diverse skin tones and hair types. 

– Strong knowledge of beauty trends and products. 

– Education:  Certification  in  makeup  artistry  and  hairstyling  from  a  recognized  institution  is preferred. 

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

– Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment. 

– Flexibility and adaptability to meet last‐minute changes.
