A reputable holding company is looking for a sales-driven Hotel General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the furnished apartment complex, ensuring it meets high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Supervise and manage a team of property staff, including front desk personnel, maintenance workers, housekeeping staff, and security personnel.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to residents and guests, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive living experience.
- Develop and manage the property’s budget, track expenses, and revenue, and work to achieve financial targets set by the company.
- Monitor occupancy levels, work to increase occupancy rates, and implement strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
- Oversee the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, conducting tours, screening tenants, and managing lease agreements.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs to ensure the property is well-maintained and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality service and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, housing laws, safety codes, and other relevant standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the property, develop marketing strategies, and participate in campaigns to attract tenants.
- Identify and generate leads through various channels, including online inquiries, referrals, networking, and outreach.
- Prepare lease agreements, rental applications, and other necessary documents accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing tenants, providing excellent customer service and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to position the furnished apartments competitively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field (Master’s degree can be a plus).
- Several years of experience in Business Management, Hospitality with progressive responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Location:
- Juba, South Sudan
Working Hours:
- 5 days a week, 8 hours a day
