Job offer: BMS Operator

In this role, you will monitor, operate, and maintain the Building Management System to ensure the efficient performance of critical building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and security. This position is vital to maintaining energy efficiency, comfort, and safety across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1- System Monitoring and Control:

• Operate and monitor the BMS to manage HVAC, lighting, power, fire safety, and water systems.
• Respond promptly to alarms, diagnose issues, and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Adjust system parameters to optimize energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

2- Preventive Maintenance:

• Conduct regular checks on the BMS to ensure all components function properly.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled inspections and servicing of connected systems.
• Maintain system backups and ensure data integrity.

3- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

• Identify and report faults or malfunctions in the BMS or related equipment.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve system issues efficiently.
• Escalate critical issues to the Facility Manager or Maintenance Supervisor when necessary.

4- Energy Management:

• Analyze system performance and generate reports on energy usage.
• Recommend and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and enhance system efficiency.

5- Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain logs of system events, alarms, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports on BMS operations and performance metrics.
• Update system configurations and documentation as required.

6- Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards in all BMS-related activities.
• Monitor compliance with building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

7- Coordination with Teams:

• Work closely with the maintenance, electrical, and HVAC teams to ensure smooth integration of systems.
• Provide technical support during system upgrades or expansions.

Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation; BMS-related training is a plus.

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM
