Job offer: Senior Electrical Engineer

Telecommunication Company looking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer with the below description and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP, PV*SOL).
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and renewable energy regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE standards).
• Experience with energy storage systems, inverters, battery technology, and grid integration.
• Familiarity with power system protection, control, and automation technologies.
• Knowledge of renewable energy financial modelling and performance analysis.

Project Management Skills:

• Proven experience in managing complex projects from design through commissioning.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams, including project managers, architects, and construction teams.
• Strong budgeting, cost estimation, and financial analysis skills related to energy projects.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Essential).

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on solar energy projects.
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing large-scale solar power systems and other renewable energy projects.
• Experience with power distribution, substations, transformers, grid-tied inverters, and energy storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with solar PV systems, including on-site construction supervision and commissioning.
• Experience outside Lebanon is a big plus.
• Experience in electrical design and site engineering in MEP/construction projects or similar.
• Experience in detailed design and implementation of solar projects, in a company.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Electrical design software, and solar design software is a must.
• Good conduct in French is highly recommended.
