QA Engineer
An IT Consultancy located in Beirut – Lebanon is looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:– Comprehend the requirements of each project to align testing procedures with business needs.
– Develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios that reflect business requirements.
– Handle parameterization and maintenance to suit business requirements.
– Ensure that software solutions fulfil customer requirements and specifications.
– Create and execute test scenarios to identify and document software issues.
– Conduct testing processes on a predetermined schedule to ensure timely delivery.
– Guarantee a seamless and satisfactory user experience.
– Identify, analyze, and document software bugs and errors.
– Record testing processes and results and work closely with the development team to enhance and improve software programs.
– Follow up on defects until they are resolved, fixed, and closed.
– Act as a link between the IT and business teams to ensure proper communication of scope changes.
– Recommend software enhancements to improve user experience.
– Research and compare similar competitor products to inform testing and development strategies.
– Ensure compliance with ISO standards and implement corrective actions based on audit findings and continuously improve QA processes.
– Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in software development and testing.
– Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical discipline
– Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, software and tools
– Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
– Relevant experience in software development and/or testing
– High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
– Exceptional attention to detail
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Good oral and written communication skills
– Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
– Fluency in English language. French is a plus
