A Cosmetic Company located in Beirut is looking to hire a Training and Development Specialist to be based in Beirut with frequent travel to the  UAE and Kuwait:

Job purpose:
Responsible for the development and implementation of talent development programs  including competency frameworks, performance management, etc. in order to contribute to the culture and enhance employee skillsets and caliber.

Responsibilities:
– Maintain and implement the competency models to be used throughout the company for selection, assessment, talent development, and succession planning.
– Develop talent development plans and programs for all employee levels and all functions to satisfy the company’s identified talent development requirements.
– Coordinate with the company’s internal stakeholders or external training providers to provide training including training sessions, workshops, and activities to ensure the development of employees’ knowledge and skills.
– Conduct evaluation of training courses, learning the effectiveness of the training providers and vendors to ensure the quality of the services provided.
– Implement career development programs focused on improving employee morale, enhancing employee capabilities, and providing a positive career path with regards to employees’ historic performance.
– Assist in the implementation of the performance management system in line with the company’s set policies.
– Provide Function Heads with the required performance appraisal forms and explain the methodology of the performance evaluation process (including employee self-appraisal, performance appraisal sessions, etc.) to achieve a high level of internal equity.
– Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to assess employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities by analysing the performance appraisal results and identifying any gaps or areas of improvement.
– Implement a sound management development plan ensuring availability of potential successors, and career opportunities for high performers to ensure an effective succession plan is in place.
– Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
– Prepare reports covering the main activities required by the job role or other customized reports as requested by the Direct Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or any related field.
-Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the same or related field.
– Proficient in English and Arabic (verbal, written).
