Liposculpture has come a long way in the past decade – offering much more than simply removing excess fat. More advanced procedures allow a good surgeon to mold the skin and underlying tissue to re-sculpt body parts and create more harmonious curves to the overall body shape.

Laser liposculpture is the latest advancements in lipoplasty techniques. Its main advantage is not only it removes resistant fat but also it works on skin tightening, where you have less bruising and quicker recovery.

How does it work?
Laser beam is introduced into area to be treated, we choose the wavelength that is specific for fat to do lipolysis (924nm, 1064nm). Then we aspirate the melted fat, afterwards we introduce laser probe with wavelength specific for skin tightening (975nm, 1320nm).

Most liposuction procedures can be performed as day surgery - either under general anaesthesia or other forms of sedation.

When do we see results?
Laser liposuction has immediate results however final tightening will be after 6 months. The result can be maintained if the patient keeps to a balanced lifestyle and diet.

The contemporary face lift reduces these highly visible signs of ageing, with far more natural looking results than earlier surgical techniques. There is now more emphasis on volume replacement and the direction (vector) of lifting rather than simply stretching sagging skin.

While most people think of face lift being pulling the face tight. Dr Hussein Hashim's philosophy on facelifting procedure is that:

The best candidates for face lift is any man or woman whose face and neck have begun to sag, most patients are in their forties to sixties.

Face lift is done under local anesthesia and if sedation. The new approach involves tightening the muscles, lifting and suspending the deeper layer of the skin and underlying facial muscles - allowing less skin to be re-sected. Skin is then repositioned and re-draped and lost volume is restored, giving the face more youthful contours.

The result is a more beautiful and refreshed appearance without any tell-tale signs of surgery.

Swelling is normal up to three days, and after one week the patient will recover and look rejuvenated and great.
