Nader Marc - Beirut, Lebanon

"40 Years In The Life Of A Viewfinder", the official website of lebanese fine art photographer Marc Nader, featuring his work spanning over a 40 year carreer. Marc has been labeled the "Virtuoso of musical photography, that which combines rythm, composition, and color harmony" [Zeina Zalzal, L'Orient-Le Jour, 2007]. Actually this description amuses him a lot since Marc is also a composer/songwriter. His photography work has been exhibited on numerous occasions in Beirut, Paris, Monaco, Liege, Kyoto, Denver, Boulder, New York, and San Francisco. Nader is a "visual" poet who turns into art whatever he decides to record through his camera lens, portraits, landscapes, objects, buildings, nature, or just mundane subjects such as an old Paris gutter, or a bus driving across a zebra crossing.

Marc has been teaching photography at the American University of Beirut since 1997. He is presently working on his new acoustic folk/rock album.
