American Airlines - Beirut, Lebanon

Travelling from Minneapolis to Charlottesville on August 7 2015. AA was 2.5 hours late and I missed connection. AA wanted me to wait 7 hours for another flight and offered to compensate me wth a $12.00 voucher, which I considered laughable and offensive. When I disagreed with Cedric, the AA gate supervisor, at length and at times loudly, Cedric called 6 armed law enforcement to threaten me with arrest if I continued to raise my voice in protest or used any profanity. Outrageous. I had to work the telephones for hours (8-10 hrs) to get a refund. My luggage still has not been returned.

Other AA employees at O'Hare apologized to me for Cedric's conduct and confirmed that it was just my bad luck to have to work with Cedric. I will never again travel with AA and will make sure that all my family and friends are aware of just how awful this airline really is for customers and its own front line staff.
